AKIRA PORSCHE

Ever since the creation of the 1st 2d image I've always wanted to build this car in 3D and after years of gaining more experience I felt ready to dive in.
As a fan of Akira I started to think what if they also drove cars and what would that look like. Instead of creating something futuristic that would suite the time period from the movie I wanted to create something more believable by using real world cars and mash them up with various engine packages to suspension setups found in current and past race cars. I borrowed the exposed engine idea from rat rod aesthetics, how cool is that those guys cruise around by showcasing the heart the car. I think this concept suits Kaneda's personality.
